Our signature spring event, Design In Bloom, once again drew 500+ creatives for a night of networking, giveaways, food, and flowers on April 28, 2016! Held at Space Gallery in the heart of Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe, the event offered architects and designers the opportunity to showcase their talents in the form of innovative floral designs and arrangements. Guests from Colorado’s creative community enjoyed bites from Sushi-Rama, floral-themed treats from Aiko Pops, craft cocktails featuring Teakoe Tea, craft beer from Renegade Brewing, and more! The venue—decked with gorgeous displays from Honeycomb & Company—served as a creative backdrop to the 20 innovative arrangements on center stage.
At Modern In Denver, we’re more than a magazine. We put just as much energy into print as we do connecting the community through our events, which we’re able to offer complimentary thanks to our sponsors: Schomp BMW, Kitchens at the Denver, The Denver Shade Company, Mile Hi Modern, and Porcelanosa.
On display were 20 arrangements, but these aren’t your ordinary floral displays. From 3D printing to concrete and nails, every arrangement was thoughtfully crafted, showcasing innovation in material use and technique. Thanks to all our participants:

And let’s not forget about the fun! In addition to the displays, Schomp BMW offered test drives of the electric BMW i3 all night along with an i8 on display. But the hit of the night is always the giveaways! Our lucky winners went home with a gift basket from Renegade Brewing, a signed, limited-edition poster by Christian Musselman, an i3 for a weekend, and Kitchens at the Denver topped it all with a Bosch dishwasher giveaway!
