WITH THE SWELTERING DAYS OF SUMMER MOVING IN, MANY TURN TO THE BREEZY RELIEF OF A CEILING FAN TO COOL THEIR HOMES. ONE OF THE TOP DESIGNS COMES FROM AN UNEXPECTED SOURCE.
Boffi is known across the world for designing some of the best kitchens, baths and furniture. They’ve also taken their design expertise to other heights. Literally. The Air Fan by Giulio Gianturco is a Bahia natural wood ceiling fan with its engine encased in sleek aluminum and stainless-steel.
The wooden fan parts, with a diameter at 160 cm, (which you can also choose to have in a black or white finish) have been wax treated at the factory to give it a smooth finish. The fan’s engine can be controlled by a remote control and can run at five different speeds.
Very cool.
The Italian-based brand is available now through Solesdi. Their Denver showroom in the RiNo district at 2800 Walnut Street will be opening soon.
