How do you redefine the idea of a flea market? Blake Adams and the crew behind the Denver Flea will show you at this weekend’s Summer Flea, touting a new location, new vendors, new activities, and more. Check out some of the highlights below, and be sure to say hello at the Modern In Denver booth! It all happens June 27-28 at 27th and Blake.

THE VENDORS
The Summer Flea features more than 200 vendors, which means plenty of new items browse and buy. A bigger venue means more shopping, but with hundreds of applications, the space is still limited—and vendors curated. “I’m still very much reviewing each application and curating the vendor pool,” said Blake Adams, one of three Denver Flea co-founders. “We feel like we’re finding success trying to highlight cool companies, interesting companies in town, regardless of their size.” The vendors range from craft jam makers to Emich Volkswagen, who will be offering test rides during the event.
THE ACTIVITIES
For the party, head to the rooftop. DENY Designs is providing graphic corn hole boxes and ping pong tables to celebrate the launch of their new outdoor products. Here, you’ll also find more games, vendors lounges, and even yoga. On Sunday morning, CorePower Yoga will provide a complimentary session at 10:30 a.m. Just show up with your mat! “The view from the top of this parking lot is unbelievable,” said Adams. “You’ve got Coors Field and most of the front range unobstructed.”
THE MUSIC
Also on the rooftop: the sounds. “We’re pretty excited about this lineup,” said Adams. Here’s why:
Saturday
Gun Street Ghost, 1-1:45
The Outfit, 2-2:45
Inner Oceans, 3-3:45
Pale Sun, 4-5
Wild High, 5:30-6:30
Sunday
La Pompe Jazz, 12-1:45
Kyle James Hauser, 2-3
Intuit, 3:30-5
Go Star, 5:30-close
THE DRINKS
There is something to drink for everyone at the Denver Flea—and they’re drinks you can’t find anywhere else. New this time around: cocktail lounges. “We’re experimenting with a couple vendors to create bar experiences to ‘tie in’ another cocktail with event,” said Adams of the collaboration with Knotty Tie and Breckenridge Distillery, who are hosting a whisky bar. Spinsters Sisters will host the champagne lounge.
Then there’s the Fleak Out Wild Ale, a craft beer collaboration with New Belgium custom-made for the event. “It’s incredibly cool, because New Belgium only collaborates with one company per year,” said Adams. They brewed 12 kegs of Fleak Out, and they tapping three at each quarterly flea. “The makeup of the yeast changes over time, so the favor profile changes slightly at every event,” he said.
There will also be more non-alcoholic options, including a lemonade made specially for the Flea from an orchard in Paonia.
THE GIVEAWAYS
Slifer Smith & Frampton are giving away a weekend getaway to the Riverfront Westin. “The Colorado experience is very much mountains as well as Denver,” said Adams. “We’re excited to take our partnerships into the mountains.” But the giveaway we’re most excited about? Modern In Denver and Workplace Resource will be giving away an Eames Armchair to one lucky visitor! See you this weekend!
